A freight forwarder asked us to help transport day-old chicks from a hatchery in 南非 to 坦桑尼亚. Due to the live nature of the cargo, we needed to ensure the time-sensitive flight was meticulously planned with the correct logistics in place to protect the animals’ welfare during transit.

Within a day of receiving the request, our experienced team had sourced a Beechcraft 1900 with enough room to safely transport the chicks. We then met with the client and aircraft operator to carry out a practice run, ascertaining how many crates could be loaded onto the aircraft whilst maintaining optimal airflow onboard.
The flight ran smoothly and the client has since used us for over a dozen additional charters transporting chicks abroad.
